"Develop a sound sense of discipline, character, initiative and a solid academic background. You must devote yourself whole heartedly to your studies, for that is your first obligation to yourselves, your parents and to the state. You must learn to obey for only then you can learn to command."

Crescent public school has been established on the concept of providing quality education at the most affordable cost. Our system of education aims to equip a child adequately with both mental and physical potential so that he/she feels ready to take up the challanges and shoulder the responsibilities of life with confidience. And that he/she is proud of his/her religion, country, culture, heritage and profession. Hence the following aspects of education of a child are looked into and catered for as effectively and efficiently as possible in this institution.
  • Developing the personal qualities like honesty, integrity, self discipline, diligence, etc through appreciation, affection and reward in and outside the classroom.
  • Developing the individual qualities like co-operation, tolerance, etc. through propersociability, motivation and guidance.
  • Detecting and eliminating the negative trails of personality like selfishness, violence, short cutting, indiscipline, etc. by constant observations as well as counselling and through adopting the corrective measures where necessary.
  • Developing the sense of pride, excellence and achievement through healthly competition amongst the individuals as well as groups in academics, sports and other co-curricular activities.
  • Imparting a harmonious combination of traditional and modern teaching and learning approaches.
  • Staying updated with the latest development in the global school curricula and introducing them in Crescent public school.
  • Trainig the Teachers with new and more efficient teaching techniques.
  • Introducing a school system that produces a more constructive and positive effect on society by inducing international standards within our own socio-cultural framework. Providing each child with an opportunity for personal deveploment and social grooming through co-curricular activities.
The school prepares admission test in accordance with each level of class. Each student will be required to qualify in the written/oral test.
Teachers nominated by the school head will assess each test paper according to a defined criterion. A child passing the admission test will be able to get admission. Remember that admission is always granted on the basis of merit only and the principal will be the sole authority for granting admission under the rules. For admission, parents are requested to submit the following documents.

  • Copy of C.N.I.C of the father / guardian.
  • Copy of child's Birth Certificate.
  • School Leaving Certificate of the last attended school.
Nazera & Hifz-ul-Quran:

Crescent's management aims a symentic arrangement of teaching of the "Holy Quran". Well experienced teachers of the Holy Quran have also been appointed in all campuses. Some campuses also provide the facility of Hifz-ul-Quran and some are looking forward to manage it.

Montessori System:

The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the period from birth to six years. The early development of child from the age of 3 years onwards depends on proper educational system which is designed especially for the development of young children.

Our montessori system consists of three levels:
  • Montessori Junior level
  • Montessori Senior level
  • Preparatory level

To cater for the needs of MONT students a separate playing area with necessary equipment has also been established.

Teach yourself before you teach is a maxim that is a guiding star for the school administration. Throughout the year, the school provides numerous opportunities to its teachers to undertake teacher training and development programmes in the form of short courses, workshops and seminars conducted by own senior teachers as well as professional development institutes.

Science Laboratories:

Crescent Public School provides spacious and well equiped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The students are required to attend the practical periods and encouraged to develop a scientific attitude through heuristic approach. Since the laboratories are equiped with the precision, sensitive and fragile equipments or apparatus and even with the dangerous and poisonous chemicals, the students are therefore, advised not to enter any laboratory unless the teacher is present inside.

Computer Laboratories:

Computer education is compulsory from class 1. The school maintains well established computer laboratories with latest equipment and networking facility. However, in some campuses management is still looking forward to provide the same.
EDUCATIONAL PROCESS AT A GLANE:

Crescent Educationl Board:

This board is responsible for laying down the policies with regards to education including selection of course and syllabus and also for conducting the exams in all campuses of Crescent at the same time.

Course:

Well experienced and highly qualified team of Crescent Educational Board is responsible for the selection and amendment of course.

Lesson Planing:

Well planned lessons are provided to the teachers of all campuses by the Crescent Educational Board. Our most experienced and qualified teachers elaborate and describe the lesson and make the students satisfied. The students are encouraged to participate and share their views towards the lesson. This creates the sense of confidence and participation in the student.

Test Policy:

Tests are held regularly and a proper record of a student's progress is maintained. The record can be seen by the parents/guardian if so desired from relevant subject teacher.

Parent-Teacher Meetings:

A regular and frequent interaction of parents with the dispensers of education of their children is very important and very much describe. Their input verbal or written is always instrumental in overcoming the deficiencies and problems in the system. Parents of the students are always welcome to discuss the progress with respective teachers in the parent-teacher meetings that are held once a month on every last working day of the month. Parents are also welcome to visit the Principle from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m on any working day. Suggestions by the parents if any should be made directly to the respective Principle either personally or in writing. Parents, however , are not allowed to visit the classrooms or approach the respective teacher directly during the school hours.
Crescent Public School gives great importance to the 1 st and 2 nd terminal exams and Annual exam which are held after every 3 months and at the end of Academic year. The progress report of 1 st, 2 nd and annual examination is sent to the parents for signature. The central examination system of Crescent Educational Board ensures that simultaneous and adentical papers are attempted at all network campuses based on a uniform syllabus and pattern.

The education of children is the joint responsibility of parents and teachers. The co-opeartion of parents / guardians will go a long way in making our job effective.

  • Parents are requested to keep a check on the progrss made by their child. They are also invited to visit the school from time to time to discuss the child's progress.

  • The school is a self-financing institution, therefore, prompt clearance of the school dues is considered a must. All duees must be cleared latest by 1th of each month.

  • The school uniform is the first identity and impression of student's personality. The students must therefore, be neatly dressed and remain careful about their turnout. All students are directed to attend the school in the prescribed uniform.

  • Punctuality and regularity is the soul of of any business . It is, therefore expected from the students to observe the school timings strictly and regularly.

  • In case of absence from the school, an application is must to be written to the Principal. Leave for reasons other than sudden illness must be applied for well before time. Application for any kind of leave should be signed by the parents or guardian only.

  • Leave application for illness lasting more than three days must be supported by a medical certificate attached to it.
